Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn

This was the original location which
was open from 1964 to 1977.

It was located on Coney Island Ave
between Avenue's X and Y.

The buidling was demolished and is
now a TD Bank branch.

Sheepshead Bay location in 1978

This is the original location after it closed as Big Daddy's and re-opened as a fruit and vegetable market in 1978. In addition
to being a fruit and vegetable market, the bldg also was home to several different restaurants and a used car lot before the building was ultimately demolished to become a branch of Commerce Bank. J

Sheepshead Bay location today....

TD Bank acquired Commerce Bank in 2009
and the Sheepshead Bay location is now a
branch of TD Bank.

Brooklyn College Location

Miami Beach Florida

This was the flagship location for
Big Daddy's in Florda and eventually
became the headquarters for the company.
Big Daddy's was located on the Lincoln
Road Mall in South Beach long before
South Beach became what it is today
and Robert "Big Daddy" Napp was a
visonary who realized early on that
South Beach could be an international
tourist destination. He ran unsuccessfully
for a seat on the Miami Beach Commission
in several elections throughout the 1970's and 80's. The Lincoln Road Mall locaton closed for good
in 1986 and today is the home to "Paul" an upscale French bakery.

Lauderhill Mall in Lauderhill Florida

This locaton opened in 1975 in the Lauderhill
Mall in Lauderhill, FL, a suburb or Fort Lauderdale.
The Lauderhill Mall was the nations first indoor
air conditioned mall at the time it was built in the
1960's. This was a franchised locaton that was
open for 2 years.

Lauderhill Mall Today.....

Today the Lauderhill Mall location
is a Men's clothing store called
the Top Man.
